Yes, the steam generator has a continuous run time of 70 minutes and when the water gets to the same level as the element it will automatically cut out. You do need to turn off the power.

Yes, it’s on the left-hand side of the steam generator. If you are having difficulty finding the level we recommend buying a basic plastic 2L jug and using that filled twice to fill it up. The jug is also handy for when you want to descale.

Yes, when the steam generator is cool you can lift the black pressure release at the back while you’re filling and the water goes in faster.

Handy tip is to always make sure that the pressure release valve at the top on the back of your hay steamer is clear of any hay or other dust and dirt. This is essential to ensure that the pressure valve is working as it should, always do this when the steam generator is unplugged and cold.
